THE ROLE: Senior Analyst - Anomaly Dectection

Job Summary:

As a Senior Analyst - Anomaly Dectection, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of our anomaly detection models. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, experience with machine learning models, and a keen eye for detail. This role involves evaluating model performance, identifying potential anomalies or inaccuracies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance model quality. Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform rigorous quality control checks on anomaly detection models to ensure high accuracy and reliability.
  • Develop and implement testing protocols to evaluate model performance under various conditions and scenarios.
  • Analyze model outputs to identify false positives, false negatives, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to refine and optimize models.
  • Document and report on model performance metrics, findings, and improvement recommendations.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in anomaly detection and quality control methodologies.
  • Participate in regular review meetings to discuss model performance and quality control processes.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of quality control tools and dashboards.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in quality control, data analysis, or model validation, particularly within anomaly detection or similar fields.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, especially in the context of anomaly detection.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and familiarity with data analysis tools and libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
  • Experience with statistical analysis and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Quicksight, Power BI)
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative workflows.

Additional Desired Skills:

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of anomaly detection techniques such as statistical methods, clustering, or machine learning-based approaches.
  • Understanding of industry-specific requirements and standards for anomaly detection (e.g., cybersecurity, finance, manufacturing).
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 6+ years experience in quality control, data analysis, or model validation, particularly within anomaly detection or similar fields.
