Technical Operations, Engineering, and Cyber Security within the NBCU Operations and Technology division have an operating cash flow of $800M+ ($1.1B FCF). The group functions as a global shared service within NBCUniversal, performing critical functions including Media, Broadcast and Studio Operations and production, Content Supply Chain, Information Technology and Engineering, and Cyber Security. The group operates from numerous locations worldwide, including New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles, Denver, and London.
The Senior Financial Analyst will play an integral role on the Tech Operations, Engineering, Cyber (TOEC) FP&A team, which oversees the consolidation and analysis of financial information (OCF and Capital) across multiple lines of business. The position offers unique exposure to strategic planning that has an enterprise-wide impact. This role will report to the VP of FP&A for Tech Operations, Engineering, Cyber.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in all aspects of annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, analyzing key metrics and trends, and summarizing for executive level presentations
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and provide regular reporting on financial performance, variances, and trends
Identify and streamline system operations, reporting, and forecasting processes
Collaborate with finance business partners to tell a compelling, concise, and consistent financial story
Assist in the planning and close processes related to Generative AI, including but not limited to accruals, project maintenance, and workforce planning
Cultivate productive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance business outcomes
Contribute to presentations and undertake ad-hoc projects & analysis as needed, providing insight into financial performance and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting and/or Consulting
Strong financial and analytical skills including the ability to contribute to complex financial models and executive-level presentations
Must be proficient with MS Office Suite products – particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

Entertainment / Media / Technology experience preferred but not required
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
