About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager to lead our team of Solutions Consultants, which support sales of our CoCounsel Core and CoCounsel Drafting AI software products. This team plays a critical role in supporting pre-sales evaluations of our generative AI software products, specifically tailored for law firms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pre-sales consulting, deep knowledge of the legal industry, and a passion for AI-driven innovation. As the Senior Manager, CoCounsel Solutions Consultants, you will:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Solutions Consultants who support pre-sales activities for generative AI software products.

  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture that prioritizes customer success and innovation.

  • Oversee the execution of tailored product demonstrations, proofs of concept (POCs), and technical evaluations to showcase the value of our AI solutions to prospective clients.

  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer needs, design effective solution strategies, and drive successful sales outcomes.

  • Engage with senior stakeholders at law firms to articulate the value proposition of our generative AI solutions.

  • Address complex technical and business-related questions from potential customers during the sales process.

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the pre-sales process, ensuring alignment with overall sales objectives and customer needs.

  • Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to inform product positioning and messaging.

  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment on product roadmap, market needs, and customer expectations.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our generative AI solutions based on feedback from the field.

  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to pre-sales activities, team performance, and sales impact.

  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and effectiveness in the solutions consulting process.

About You

  • J.D. is strongly preferred

  • 7+ years of experience in pre-sales, solutions consulting, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.

  • 2+ years experience working with AI or other SaaS software

  • Deep understanding of the legal industry, with experience in selling or implementing legal technology solutions preferred.

  • Strong technical acumen, with the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into business value for customers.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior-level stakeholders.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Passion for AI and innovation, with a strong interest in how generative AI is transforming the legal industry.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following metro locations: Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $112,400 - $208,800. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states: CA, CO, CT, IL, NV, TX, WA and/or remote. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $102,200 - $189,800. The base compensation range in other locations may vary. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
