SeatGeek, Inc. Senior Manager, Engineering in New York, New York

Manage a team of cross functional engineers (backend and frontend, multiple platforms). Work closely with Product to design and develop product enhancements and value for both fans and enterprise customers - including prioritization and planning cycles. Guide the team to improve operational and engineering best practices to keep our development machine humming. Provide regular job performance feedback, hold one on-ones, and provide career development support to direct reports. Play an active role in our recruiting process, helping us to grow our engineering team. Perform code reviews and provide technical and design feedback to the team. Communicate technical and product decisions to the right people, resolve blocking issues, and collaborate with other leaders across the organization. Telecommuting permitted.Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or in related field and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in acomputer-related occupation.Special Requirements: Position requires knowledge or coursework in each of the following skills:1.Building financial and accounting-related products;2.Hiring and onboarding team members into a complicated system;3.Building cloud-based products such as AWS;4.TDD pattern;5.Using reporting systems and the impact of regulations;6.Object Oriented development using C# or Java;7.Project management and leading projects from design to production using Scrum over Jira; and8.Leading and managing a SWE team, focusing on task management, coaching, and team members' career paths.Employment and background checks may be required.

Minimum Salary: 262,621 Maximum Salary: 270,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
