Amazon Senior Program Manager, The Drop in New York, New York

Description

The Drop is seeking an exceptionally talented, strategic and action-oriented Senior Program Manager to support the launch and continued roadmap development of a confidential GenAI fashion tool. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the launch and continued development of an innovative, industry changing program – including overseeing business execution post-launch and shaping the next phase of priorities and requirements as we learn from early tool engagement and build out our roadmap on additional features. The successful candidate will be a strong general athlete with the demonstrated ability to drive action and accountability, invent and simplify based on roadblocks and bottlenecks, dive deep on detailed business and engagement metrics, and think big as we shape new features of the tool to delight our customers. They will have a proven track record of delivering results across a range of initiatives, guiding action and important decisions across key stakeholders, with a passion for testing, learning and making data-driven decisions.

The ideal candidate will leverage strong program management skills and be able to thrive in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment. The Program Manager must be a thoughtful, high-energy, self-starter, with strong business acumen, acute analytical skills, and the demonstrated ability to drive accountability and tackle complex issues. They will be intellectually curious, goal and detail oriented, and customer-obsessed. At a strategic level, this role will involve working with Sourcing, Planning, Catalog, CX, Influencer Managers, and Tech to seamlessly execute this exciting new program leveraging cutting-edge GenAI capabilities.

Key job responsibilities

• Owns building and iterating on execution processes owned by The Drop team in support of this program. Drives mechanisms of accountability across multiple key stakeholders

• Establish and lead change management processes and best practices to support this confidential program

• Drive future program roadmap planning and prioritization based on data-driven insights alongside our tech and business partners

• Define key KPIs and goals associated with the program, driving the definition of success

• Lead program analysis and reporting, updating key stakeholders and Leadership on program performance

• Champion of Gen-AI innovation within Drop business processes

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Must possess excellent judgment, strong written and oral communication skills

  • High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or merchandising preferably in the fashion industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
