Zurich is seeking a Strategy & Business Execution Senior Consultant to support Middle Market senior business leaders in the development and execution of strategic initiatives. As a Senior Consultant within the Strategy and Business Execution team, you will support proactive identification of opportunities, help establish action plans to improve business outcomes, execute multiple assigned projects to support strategic initiatives and operational planning and support the leadership in developing long-term business, financial and operational plans. This position can be based at our North American Headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois, or at one of our field offices in New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Kansas City, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Orlando, San Francisco, LA, Seattle, or Denver.

Responsibilities of a Strategy and Business Execution Senior Consultant include:

• Independently conduct analysis by collecting data and input from other parts of the organization.

• Monitor / review business progress relative to operational plans.

• Assist in valuation and measurement of key projects/initiatives.

• Identify possible issues/opportunities and assists in developing / scoping solutions.

• Build data models to support complex analyses.

• Identify gaps in analysis and additional analysis that should be conducted.

• Apply industry knowledge to own work and bring knowledge to bear with other analysts.

• Develop written communications in Power Point that convey analyses and insights in a cohesive story

• Define data requirements and identifying appropriate sources.

• Propose potential new initiatives or areas for improvement.

• Gather market information for reporting purposes and disseminate the information to internal audiences.

• Analyze key themes from a wide range of data sources in order to identify how different scenarios may impact upon the business

• Translate business objectives into clearly defined business cases, costs or schedules in order to support achievement of business objectives.

BasicQualifications :

• Bachelors Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Strategic and Operational Consulting area

Preferred Qualifications:

• Highly preferred Advanced analytic and Excel skills

• Insurance industry knowledge with subject matter expertise in at least one functional insurance discipline

• Property and Casualty insurance experience

• Project Management Experience

• Demonstrated problem solving skills

• Advanced Analytical thinking skills

Compensation for roles at Zurich varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Zurich provides in good faith a reasonable range of compensation for roles. Candidates with salary expectations outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill, and education. The salary provided is a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled. The starting salary range for this position is$83,700.00 - $137,100.00.
