JPMorgan Chase Software Engineer in New York, New York

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Work in the full development life cycle, i.e. requirements gathering, analysis, design, implementation, deployment, and support of the NYC Marking & Pricing application portfolio. Analyze business challenges, both technical and financial in scope, and requiring a thorough understanding of both aspects in order to propose the most appropriate solutions. Provide support to front office staff and peripheral teams to debug and diagnose time critical issues reported by the business and partners in technology. Partner with Trading leads to build, support, and evolve their businesses. Leverage global relationships to build globally consistent solutions for the local market. Will supervise four (4) to eight (8) Software Engineers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Windows; Agile SDLC; Application Architecture Disciplines; Data Architecture Disciplines; Microservices; Python; XML; JSON; Automated Testing; Functional Testing; Manual Testing; Performance Testing; Regression Testing; System Integration Testing; Unit Testing; User Acceptance Testing; Interest Rate Derivative Pricing; Interest Rate Derivative Risk Management; Reuters TIBCO; and Excel/VBA development.

Job Location: 383 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10017.

Full-Time. Salary: $210,000 - $260,000 per year.
