Analyze, design, implement and test muti-tier applications using technologies like core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, RabbitMQ, JDBC, SOAP/REST Webservices, XML, and JSON on Tomcat/Jetty servers with Oracle as database. Perform code review, code quality, compliance, and best practice checks. Troubleshoot, research, and resolve major defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in systems functions, outputs, and content. Identify and address issues to resolution quickly and escalate with management when necessary. Understand incident and problem management methodologies and utilize call/ticketing software, such as JIRA. Support daily production and non-production issues, act as escalation point to resolve urgent and complex issues, and manage expectations. Reports to New York office with up to 100% telecommuting permitted. Salary range: $169,229 - $200,000. Must have work experience with each of the following: 1) Analyze, design, implement and test muti-tier applications within cost basis and fixed income domain; 2) Bash/shell scripting; 3) Core Java programming and Java Script; 4) Spring framework with JDBC or JSP; 5) Version control source management tools like Git; 6) Node JS; and 7) Redis.
