We seek a Senior Program Manager to support the WW Video Strategy & Go-To-Market team within Amazon Ads, predominantly focused on our Prime Video Entertainment Sponsorships and tent pole strategic programs. This role will be the primary central point of contact for all cross-functional teams interfacing between Prime Video, Amazon MGM Studios, Product, Sales, Ad Ops, and Account Managers to develop cross functional operations and tooling to stand up a best-in-class Sponsorship program. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast growing and entrepreneurial organization, bringing innovation and growing adoption of Amazon Ads. The Senior Program Manager is a seasoned Chief of Operations who comes with a background in video ads, responsible to stand up net new processes and tooling, and develop the long term strategy to support the 16+ international Prime Video Ads locales so they all operate effectively. This Program Manager is seasoned in conflict resolution and inspires the team towards collaboration to ensure every angle is covered, as efficiently as possible. They will be responsible for owning several senior facing mechanisms including CPRs (Critical Program Reviews), and co-owning Weekly Business Reviews with Prime Video Ads.

Key job responsibilities

  • Strategize with the Manager of Brand Partnerships in planning the optimal operating model and standing up necessary program reviews, status meetings and executional SOPs.

  • Support the day-to-day global Sponsorships program by owning program trackers, workback calendars, timeline management, oversight of the status review, and holding owners accountable to ensure milestones are met.

  • The operations team captain – a mentor, leader, and voice of the entire team – knows the needs for all cross-team members and represents them in all meetings/decisions

  • Drive continuous process improvement and automation to be more effective and efficient, while reducing errors. Survey teams to identify additional processes that can be centralized, automated, externalized, or deprecated

  • Invent and simplify processes and the use of system tooling to support efficient collaboration, campaign planning, resource tracking and creative review/approvals.

  • Anticipate and be able to mitigate problems as they arise while ensuring updates on progress, relevant delays and budget implications are communicated to stakeholders.

  • Author program/campaign playbooks that can be scaled globally in mature and nascent markets

  • Raise the quality bar and foster continual process improvements through routine post mortums and collaborative feedback with cross-functional partners.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Background in video advertising and supporting product launches

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in and/or a passion for the entertainment industry and digital video. · Experience in process improvement techniques and implementation.

  • Experience with Salesforce, Quicksite, Excel and Tableau

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
