DIRECTV Sr. Specialist, Ad Sales Ops, Sys & Svcs in New York, New York

DIRECTV is seeking a Senior Specialist in systems and services for our Ad Sales Operations team. This experienced professional serves as a consultant to internal clients, assists in development of strategies for use of company platforms, and solves complex technical issues related to those platforms. The Senior Specialist consults with internal clients regarding business needs and goals for current and future Salesforce development while advising on the use and strengths of Salesforce. In this strategic role, the Senior Specialist provides expertise on the use and development of Salesforce for the Ad Sales use case.

Here's what you’ll do:

  • Oversee Ad Sales’ Salesforce (Sales Cloud) implementation including day to day service, feature enhancement, production deployments, and new workflow implementations.

  • Work directly with in house engineering team through Agile method to service and develop the Salesforce implementation.

  • Oversee order management system integrations across all DIRECTV Ad Sales verticals (Linear, Addressable, Digital Workflows) as well as integrations into our billings systems.

  • Support our Ad Sales user base and teams including Sales, Planning, Inventory, Finance, Traffic, Research, and Billing Ops.

  • Field and ideate business reporting needs. In addition, maintain pre-existing reporting concepts/dashboards.

  • Perform testing and validation for bi-weekly deployments.

  • Manage Ad Sales training for new product launches and maintain documentation.

  • Seek and deliver improvements and efficiencies in the Salesforce platform for our business, our support team, and stakeholders.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • 2 - 3 years of Advertising experience, or similar field relative to the role. Digital/Programmatic Advertising experience a major plus.

  • Understanding of Advertising Sales workflow from pitch to pay.

  • 2 + years of Salesforce Administration experience, certified preferred.

  • Strong command of Agile software development lifecycle. Comfortable with leading grooming and sprint planning ceremonies from business point of view.

  • Effective time management skills and strong multi-tasking capabilities to adjust and remain flexible to company priorities.

  • Strong communication skills. Comfort with in-person presentations a must.

  • Proven track record of leading major CRM projects. Experience in organization merge projects a plus.

  • Solid understanding of application/software integrations.

  • Strong experience in Salesforce app-based reporting. Familiarity with CRM Analytics/dataflows a major plus.

  • Required Software Skills: JIRA, Excel (Moderate Skill Level), Salesforce.

  • Preferred Software Skills: Slack Workflow Builder, Operative, SQL, SAQL, Snowflake, Looker.

  • Exceptionally organized and detail oriented.

This role requires 2 days/week in the New York City office.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position and work location(s) listed in the job posting US Labor Market Zone(s). Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

DIRECTV WAGE ZONE

N4: $105,800 - $158,700

Please note that the salary ranges reflect base salary only and do not include bonus or benefits - when you consider all of these together, it represents a pretty impressive total compensation package.
