Siegel+Gale Staff Designer in New York, New York

Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and Web sites; Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts, based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts; Key information into computer equipment to create layouts for client or supervisor; Use computer software to generate new images; Partner with Creative Director to create conceptual design solutions for brands; Demonstrate strong conceptual thinking with exceptional design and craft skills; Participate in group brainstorming/concept development sessions; Distill complex ideas into simple, strategic and creative executions; Drive improvement, efficiency and effectiveness into all methodologies and deliverables; Be accountable for project profitability with Account Management; and Lead portions of new business presentations as a subject matter expert. Partial telecommuting is permitted. When not telecommuting, must report to Siegel & Gale, LLC, 200 Varick Street, 11th floor, New York, NY 10014.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Design, Graphic Design, Advertising, Marketing, Fine Arts, or related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as a Designer, Graphic Designer or any occupation/position/job title involving creating design concepts. Must also the have following special skills: 5 years of professional experience consulting at a design, consulting, or advertising firm, carrying out the design process (including developing, designing, and implementing design solutions) to create designs which support brand strategy for multi-industry clients; 5 years of professional experience utilizing design tools (including PhotoShop and Illustrator) to develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and web sites; 5 years of professional experience communicating conceptual ideas, detailed designs, and design rationale both verbally and visually; 5 years of professional experience utilizing website designs and graphic design principles to create designs, concepts, and sample layouts; and 5 years of professional experience creating illustrations and rough sketches (including typography, layout, color semiotics, and drawing) using design tools (including Adobe Suite).

Minimum Salary: 108,108 Maximum Salary: 160,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
