Uber Strategic Operations Associate, Uber for Business in New York, New York

About the Role

We're looking for a Strategic Operations Associate to help us scale Uber for Business, one of the most exciting and fastest growing business units at Uber.

In this role, you will get to own and execute global projects and initiatives that will drive profitable incremental growth for Uber for Business. You will partner with your cross-functional counterparts to deliver elevated experiences to corporate customers and their employees. And you will deliver analysis that will inform strategic decision-making.

This is a hybrid role - our team collaborates in-person out of our incredible office from New York City or San Francisco 3 days/week. We encourage our employees to work from our office on additional days if they desire to do so.

What You'll Do

  • Program management

  • Drive the execution of strategic initiatives , working closely Product, Sales, Marketing, Support, and Sales Operations to deliver impactful outcomes.

  • Analytics

  • Harness your analytical skills to uncover actionable insights that shape strategy and drive decision-making.

  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards to track top-line and operational performance metrics.

  • Communicate key insights to leadership and cross-functional teams in forums like Monthly Business Reviews.

  • Product strategy and launch

  • Shape the future of our product offerings by partnering with Product and Product Operations teams to define the roadmap.

  • Translate customer needs into action by leveraging research and client feedback to drive product enhancements.

  • Lead or support product launches , from new features to geography expansions, ensuring smooth execution and adoption.

  • Act as a product subject matter expert to empower internal teams.

  • Go-to-market strategy and enablement

  • Help design and execute winning go-to-market strategies , collaborating with Sales and Marketing teams.

  • Support high-impact client engagements , participating in calls and crafting proposals and incentive plans for large-scale deals.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in strategy, operations or project/program management

  • Analytical thinker, with experience using data to drive business decisions

  • Proficiency in SQL (or similar query language) and Excel or Gsheets

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leaders

  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong business acumen, with experience evaluating a line of business and understanding how to drive growth

  • Strong organization and project management skills, including ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects and processes simultaneously

  • Skilled in synthesizing information quickly to distill key takeaways, and to weave insights into a compelling story that clarifies and inspires

  • Experience building deep relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, anticipating their concerns and successfully advocating for your priorities

  • Comfort addressing ambiguity, for example, shifting priorities or unfamiliar problems

  • B2B Experience is an asset, but not required

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$101,000 per year - USD$112,500 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$101,000 per year - USD$112,500 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
