Job Title: Summer Intern - Entry-Level Management Analyst
The Junior Management Analyst is an entry-level position in a remote work environment. The candidate provides analytical and project management support, utilizing a wide range of state of the art performance improvement methodologies across all administrative and operational functions. This individual gathers and prepares data from business and organizational systems to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Support the Director, Disparities and Data Analytics, with ongoing efforts to improve the collection of patient race, ethnicity, language, and sexual orientation/ gender identity (SOGI) data.
Organize and coordinate meetings with stakeholders.
Participate in education to faculty staff around data collection efforts.
Identify system issues and propose solutions for remediating.
Coordinate data analytic requests and provide assistance on report design.
Create and maintain internal documentation, including manuals for dashboards and standard operating procedures
Aid the Director, Corporate Health Systems Affairs (CHSA), in collecting and analyzing MSHS leadership, faculty, and staff data.
Update standard reports and dashboards for leadership review.
Manage and create reports for specific data requests, as needed.
Assist in data validation projects, including testing dashboards and data mapping.
Research studies on demographics and disparities in healthcare to inform strategic initiatives.
Assist with department strategic initiatives, as outlined by CHSA Directors.
Collaborate with other team members and assume other duties as required.
Participate in the ODI divisional and CHSA staff meetings.
- Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration or computer-related field
