Tax Advisor - People Advisory Services - Mobility Performance Improvement (Senior) (Multiple Positions) (1533074), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, New York, NY. Provide tax planning and compliance services and advice on tax implications related to the mobility of employees as well as corporate and employment tax planning. Participate in engagement teams and collaborate with managers for successful delivery of expatriate tax projects. Prepare tax returns, write correspondence, provide authoritative advice/guidance, and develop tax opinions and review tax cost estimates. Support engagement teams in developing mobility operating model, undertaking multi-jurisdictional tax due diligence, collaborating with cross-functional shareholders. Develop understanding of expatriate tax issues, trends and tools. Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services focusing on more complex, judgmental and/or specialized issues. Demonstrate technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Learn about EY and its service lines and actively assess and present ways to apply knowledge and services.Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Business, Human Resources, Law or a related field and 2 years of related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree Accounting, Finance, Tax, Business, Human Resources, Law or a related field and 1 year of related work experience. Must have 1 year of experience in expatriate tax at a mid-sized/regional to large-sized national consulting firm or public accounting firm, or in an in-house role. Must have 1 year of experience in automated tax processing systems, including CCH or GoSystems, Tax Cost Estimator, and Microsoft Office tools. Must have 1 year of experience of conducting tax law research and writing U.S. tax technical memoranda and formulating formal tax opinions. Must have 1 year of experience leading mobility advisory project workstreams from planning to implementation, including managing resources and budgets. Must have 1 year of experience developing and delivering client presentations and reports focused on tax technical subject matter and involving cross-organization business consulting. Must have 1 year of experience coaching and developing junior tax consultants, focusing on their technical and client service skills. Domestic travel required up to 40% of the time, of which 25% may be international, to serve client needs.
