Job Description:
The TD College Apprenticeship Program allows you to pursue a paid, credit-bearing apprenticeship while earning your degree. You will gain in-demand skills needed to succeed in business and gain workplace experience at TD. The College Apprentice provides a range of operational and analytical support and/or performs transactions and/or other processing activities within a well-defined functional area. The expected outcome of this program is to provide introductory experience in a professional setting. After successful completion of this program, occupants should be equipped with skills and experiences that contribute to the completion of their studies and prepare them to build a career in their chosen discipline
Job Description
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
CUSTOMER
Support successful execution of relevant reporting, operational requests, and relevant transactional requests for the business unit and/or client
Conduct less complex analytics and research, and obtain/share internal and external relevant business/market data
Assistwithbuildingandreviewinginternalmodels,tools,processes, policies, presentations, and other related materials; challenge team and improve the underlying processes of functional area
Assist with various initiatives, as assigned
For Technology Solutions Programs:
- Assist teams with designing and building software, applications, etc. according to business requirements, UX designs, and architectural guidelines, and ensure that high-quality products
SHAREHOLDER
Prioritize and manage own workload to meet SLA requirements for service
Consistently exercise discretion in managing information and all matters of confidentiality; escalates issues where appropriate
Access systems, understand and apply system capabilities, ensure information is completed timely and accurately
Update and contribute to the preparation of procedural documents in support of day-to-day operations
Escalate non-standard or high-risk activities as deemed appropriate
Follow internal and industry regulations and operating practices in completing and recording transactions
Be knowledgeable and/or aware of industry developments
Acquire and apply expertise in the discipline, provide guidance, assistance direction to others
Protect the interests of the organization – identify and manage risks and escalate
non- standard, high risk activities as necessary
Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite

Works autonomously and performs multiple and/or diverse tasks that are diverse involving multiple steps, systems, and jurisdictions
Transactions and activities require expert knowledge across a broad range or variety of products, processes or systems within own area of specialty and where transactions could be characterized by moderate to high risk
Gathers and analyzes data to identify and solve complex problems, escalates as required
Uses sound judgement and understanding of process/policy risk when recommending exceptions outside general practices or guidelines.
Generally interacts with internal customers / partners for functions performed and/or external customers
Mayprovideprocess/policyguidancetoothers(e.g.withinteam,internal partners)
Focus of work is weekly, monthly and/or longer with addition of ad-hoc and initiative based requests, as required
Process subject matter expert in a range of technical processes job related training and considerable on the job experience to perform a range of work assignments
Requires advanced knowledge of the business unit / operational functions as well as regulatory issues/ requirements for jurisdictions supported

Provides support for Manager and others areas, as indicated
May assist in completing various departmental projects/reports
Assists with operational and administrative functions

Education & Experience:
High School Diploma required
Current enrollment in a relevant post-secondary program
1+ years related experience
Eligible to work in the United States
Pursuing an Associates Degree in:

Guttman Community College: Information Technology
