The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary
The Division of Rheumatology seeks a Technician B to provide support for various research trials. The technician will assist the research coordinators, the Principal Investigator (PI), and research manager in the execution of NIH and/or industry-sponsored clinical trials that focus on the discovery of novel drug targets in rheumatology.
Responsibilities
- Support the PI by handling tasks such as data entry, supply procurement, and lab processing according to protocol.
- Aid in data preparation, maintain study files, and assist with IRB submissions to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Retrieve and enter data from study sites and provide regular reports to the PI.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology or physics or related science or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Other Requirements
- Participation in the medical surveillance program
- Potential bloodborne pathogen exposure
- Successful completion of applicable compliance and systems training requirements
