Citi’s Functions Technology is responsible for delivering Technology solutions to Citi's Functions organizations. Functions Technology mission is to optimize Citi's Technology environment by delivering world class applications, driving standardization of the production environment, reducing complexity, optimizing management of systems supporting global functions such as Compliance, Controls, Internal Audit and Risk, and introducing innovative technologies that provide new business capabilities, reduce the technology total cost of ownership, and create a competitive advantage for Citi.

The Technology Product Manager in Operational Risk Technology is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Recognized as subject matter expert within Operational Risk 1st and 2nd line oversight functions. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Primarily affects a sub-function. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.

Responsibilities

  • As a senior technology product manager, you will be responsible for entire product lifecycle of technology solutions (from ideation to launch), supporting Operational Risk 1st line, 2nd line oversight and regulatory reporting functions.

  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders for defining product vision and technology roadmap.

  • Work closely with engineering teams, architects and business analysts across multiple regions to ensure the technology solutions meets business goals and complies with firm's technology standards.

  • Demonstrating deep technical knowledge and expertise in software development, including programming languages, frameworks, and best practices

  • Monitor development to ensure implementation decisions align with company objectives

  • Foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in driving delivery of large-scale enterprise technology solutions

  • Ability to collaborate with executives, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and strategic objectives

  • Have a solid understanding of operational risk frameworks particularly in Loss Estimates, Risk categorization, Stress Testing and regulatory reporting

  • Be familiar with financial services trends and emerging issues to improve technology solutions in support of operational risk detection.

  • Experience in advanced modeling and analytical skills to create meaningful measurement and reporting on key risk exposures.

  • Working knowledge of industry practices and standards

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building strong client relationships.

  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed

  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and progress towards a leadership role within the company.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree

$163,600.00 - $245,400.00
