Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Vice President, Finance Change Management in New York, New York

Review and enhance critical Finance processes within its US operations, including financial planning, reporting, and data management. Work with core Finance teams and Technology, Risk, and Compliance departments to establish and manage large-scale programs focused on implementation of processes, methodologies, and systems that meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Provide execution support, process monitoring, and business stakeholder communication while driving rigor throughout the process. Oversee and track progress of financial projects using project plans, project charters, business cases, and status reports. Focus on improving governance, efficiency, and control through data process optimization, and proactively identify and remediate areas of regulatory deficiencies. Design solutions to address financial project issues. Identify opportunities for automation, increased transparency, and enhancement of business processes. Facilitate working groups responsible for executing targeted remediation and data enhancement activities within the Finance department.Requirements:Master’s in Business Administration, Business & Management, or Finance, plus three years of experience in the position offered or as Assistant Vice President or Manager at an international bank or consulting firm.**All required experience must have included developing, testing, and delivering technology programs in the financial sector; working on technology programs focused on optimizing financial processes, methodologies and systems, ensuring their compliance with regulatory requirements; gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements and translating them into reporting platforms; developing financial models and extracting and modeling data using MS Access, MS Visio, Confluence and Excel; and managing complex projects independently, coordinating across multiple stakeholder groups and applying knowledge of change/program management, financial operations and planning, risk and controls management, IT processes, and data management.This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York, NY office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location.#LI-DNI

Minimum Salary: 241,600 Maximum Salary: 242,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
