Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Vice President, Latin America Project Finance in New York, New York

Lead credit risk analysis and financial modeling activities for project finance transactions in Latin America in the infrastructure space. Lead due diligence review for project finance deals, including evaluating material project documents, including due diligence reports, term sheets, contracts and legal memos. Use internal loan systems to successfully book transactions and derivatives internally. Prepare marketing materials and proposals to secure new project finance mandates. Analyze complex financial models and create sensitivities to stress test cash flows and resilience of the asset. Analyze internal financial data and compile regulatory compliance reports. Negotiate commercial deal terms and conditions. Lead preparation of financial reports and memos, including KYC and local regulatory reports. Requirements:Master’s in Economics, Finance, International Development, Public Policy or Urban Planning, plus two years of experience in the position offered or as project finance analyst at an international bank.**All required experience must have included assisting with on-site banking due diligence, credit agreement negotiations, and term sheet structuring for project finance transactions with a focus in Latin America; performing credit risk and financial modeling for Latin America Project Finance segment; helping develop presentations of middle-market and large companies investment opportunities in Latin America to investors; and working on all stages of deal lifecycle, from initial screenings to financial analysis, credit case preparation and approval across transactions in the Infrastructure sector. This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York, NY office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location.#LI-DNI

Minimum Salary: 175,000 Maximum Salary: 225,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
