Position Summary

The Business Intelligence team partners with both internal and external stakeholders and data providers, leveraging analytics and measurement to enable optimization of media spending. The Director is responsible for orchestrating efficient delivery of high-quality analytic services to a large book of business, contributing to new business development, and facilitating the professional growth and development of his/her team.

Responsibilities
  • Assess client's needs and develop analytic roadmaps that go beyond measurement plans and learning agendas to include activities such as high value audience identification and targeting, multivariate testing, forecasting and optimization
  • Exhibit a deeper understanding of digital and media ecosystems including integration of on-line/off-line attribution, integration of upper and lower funnel measurement, interaction of web design with media performance, success of key media tactics including targeting via SCOUT or DMPs/CDPs, dynamic creative optimization, and TV advance audiences and earned media
  • Knowledge leadership - serve as "go to" expert for one service area or offering (e.g. brand tracking/campaign effectiveness studies, MTA, web analytics, multivariate testing, dynamic creative optimization, forecasting, DMPs/CDPs)
  • Serve as project lead on more complex analyses - develop project plans, manage the team's work efforts, oversee creation of on-time and on-budget deliverables, and present findings
  • Assume ultimate responsibility for the quality of his/her team's analytic deliverables, including pertinent insights and actionable recommendations
  • Support Manager as needed to ensure collaborative and productive working relationships with media teams, high quality deliverables, and high client satisfaction
  • Monitor client level resource allocations relative to contracted scope and reset expectations with media teams and clients as needed
  • Develop content for client contracts detailing analytic workstreams and required resources
  • Responsible for at least 5 direct and indirect reports - providing coaching, mentoring and professional development and ensuring adequate client utilization levels
  • Serve as strategic contact with media teams and clients / Deepen reputation as a trusted partner
  • Develop and maintain senior level relationships with clients, as well as external partners utilized in meeting client needs
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell existing clients to drive organic growth
  • Play a lead analytics role in smaller new business pitches and support larger new business pitches - collaborate with Mediahub teams to assess prospective clients' needs and help craft pitch materials
  • Demonstrate a full understanding of Mediahub capabilities and how our analytic services fit into the broader client picture
  • Play an increased role in the development of new service offerings and be an active participant in agency-wide initiatives (e.g. mentoring, diversity, training, etc.).
  • Represent and help promote Mediahub via industry speaking engagements and publications
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required

Required Skills & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree typically in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, etc.); advanced degree typically in a quantitative discipline desired
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in a professional services or corporate environment, preferably an agency; significant media analytics experience and deep knowledge of the media ecosystem
  • Facile with MS Office; including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Experience with ad-serving platforms such as Google Campaign Manager; web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics; tag management tools such as DTM/Launch, GTM and Tealium; familiarity with MTA providers like Neustar, VisualIQ, C3
  • Experience with audience tools such as Comscore, MRI, Exact Target; creative/brand evaluation and tracking tools like Kantar Millward Brown, Nielsen Brand Effects; search tools like Adwords, Kenshoo; social tools like Crimson Hexagon, Netbase
  • Familiarity with media mix modeling and other forms of regression-based ROI; A/B and multivariate test design
  • Experience influencing a marketing strategy through the application and/or management of data driven, analytic solutions
  • Ability to deliver compelling presentations and storytelling and command an audience / Seen as a partner and advisor by clients
  • Demonstrated ability to run a team - solid planning, priority setting, time and project management skills; displays/instills a strong sense of commitment to high quality work
  • Exhibits mature leadership - identifies team development opportunities and motivates individuals to a higher level of performance; displays empathy in difficult team situations and manages conflicts
  • Team player - highly motivated and collaborative / leads by example

The salary range for this position is posted below. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee's/applicant's skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.

Salary Range
$180,000-$230,000 USD
