Full-Time Clinical Assistant - Clinical Operations

Reports to: Director of Clinical Administration

Lower Manhattan/Flushing Queens

New York

United States

Responsibilities :

  • Review the appointment no-shows and reschedule appointments for patients as needed for vaccinations, blood works, and medical issues

  • Handle patients health forms

  • Assist in tracking and coordinating immunization activities including reporting immunizations to the public immunization information systems

  • Preload patients data to the electronic health record

  • Assist in pre-charting for immunization records, laboratory testing, and preventive health screenings

  • Maintain medical supplies inventory

  • Assist in monitoring quality assurance activities associated with the clinic programs, conducting reporting, and following up with patients who are identified with diseases and conditions

  • Perform other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications :

  • High school degree or equivalent

  • Two years experience working in the health care field

  • Related health care education background preferred

  • Bilingual in English/Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)

  • Typing or computer knowledge

  • Good telephone skills

    Compensation and Benefits :

  • Salary: $35,000.00 - 44,000.00 per year
