Mizuho Corporate Bank Murex Software Lead Developer in New York, United States

Join the Mizuho team as a Murex Software Lead Developer

We are seeking a Murex (Derivatives Risk and Pricing Software) expert with detailed knowledge and experience in the DataMart, Workflow, Interfaces and Operations components of the system, with the ability to execute system development in these areas.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Murex Datamart, Workflow, Interfaces development

  • Take lead on small projects for execution

  • Develop and implement changes for Murex workflows (preTrade, exchange, etc)

  • Develop Murex Reports.

  • Develop Confirmation changes

  • Develop interface configuration (MDIT, MW, etc.)

  • Drive business requirement gathering and documentation from user community

  • Translate Business requirements into technical implementation designs

  • Follow controlled VC and production release process

    Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience with Murex implementations

  • 3+ years’ experience in Derivatives industry

  • General SQL knowledge

  • Sybase knowledge a plus.

  • Experience with standard development toolkits ( Git, IDE’s )

  • Experience or understanding of Agile development methodologies

  • Strong SDLC and testing skills

  • Effective communication skills

    Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with implementation of Murex Collateral module

  • Experience with implementation of Murex MarkitWire Interface

  • Experience with regulatory reporting integration

The expected base salary ranges from $105k-$190k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
