Full-Time Outreach Coordinator
Reports To: Director of Social Work

Responsibilities :
Work closely with Program Manager to effectively implement the Consumer Assistance for the Aged, Blind and Disabled Program
Establish contacts with community groups to reach uninsured and underinsured population
Connect with organizations that service the Aged, Blind & Disabled population to raise community awareness of the Program and of Medicaid enrollment services
Plan, schedule, and conduct outreach (i.e. street outreach, community events, and presentations senior centers) and train Enrollers on outreach and recruitment strategies
Attend and participate in staff meetings, trainings and conferences
Coordinate open-house to educate prospective applicants on their health insurance options
Enroll clients into Medicaid programs with Medicare eligibility assessments
Track referrals and collaborations within and outside of the Health Center
Provide monthly report to the Manager on outreach statistics
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in public health, social work, marketing or related fields
Three years of health insurance enrollment & outreach work experience preferred
Must be bilingual in Chinese, Korean, Spanish and/or Bengali
Solid presentation skills and demonstrated ability to speak in public and in front of large groups
Ability to develop business contacts and collaborative professional relationships
High computer proficiency, with experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
Ability to manage conflicting priorities
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Compensation and Benefits :
Salary: $45,000 per year
