How will you make an impact in this role?

American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) offers powerful backing and financial support to business clients of all sizes. The SME Managed Marketing, Customer Marketing team supports top clients in the Small and Medium Enterprise segment, through both marketing directly to Corporate Card Members, and partnering with Account Development and Sales teams to drive spend and help Card Members maximize their Membership. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Program Marketing, the Sr. Manager, Corporate Lifecycle Marketing will be responsible for the full end-to-end suite of marketing communications that shepherd the Program Administrator, who manages the Corporate Program at our mid-size Clients, from Early Tenure through the lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will be a marketer who thrives driving transformative strategies, with a track record of exceptional project management. They will have a bias towards analytics, yet a strong creative voice to reach a complex customer base. They will also have a passion for delivering customer first content via a multi-channel surround sound strategy and partnering with teams cross-functionally. They will exemplify leadership qualities to manage, coach, and develop direct reports to support end-to-end strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the multi-channel marketing strategy including Email, Direct Mail, Site, and Experiential, for Middle Market Program Administrator (PA) to deepen engagement and drive spend on the Corporate Card

  • Partner with Product to bring the Corporate Program value story to life across the PA marketing journey

  • Create strategies to deliver “wow” moments for our Clients and Card Members

  • Continuously test & learn, synthesize results, establish learnings, and develop recommendations for evolving the PA direct marketing

  • Drive success metrics and deliver reporting to accurately measure the impact of engagement

  • Identify opportunities to enhance marketing capabilities and personalization partnering with Technology and Enterprise Marketing Solutions teams

  • Exemplify Amex leadership behaviors to develop, coach and manage 2 direct reports

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience developing and executing cross-channel customer marketing campaigns to deepen customer engagement and loyalty

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, including juggling multiple priorities, superb attention to detail, meeting timelines and operating effectively under changing conditions

  • Robust analytical skills, with an interest in identifying relevant trends and using data to inform strategies

  • Natural teammate with strong and effective communication skills and experience gaining alignment up, down and across teams.

  • Self-starter who can thrive in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment

  • Track record of driving innovation and change

  • People leadership experience with the ability to manage, motivate, develop, and inspire direct reports

Preferred Qualifications

  • B2B Marketing experience in the financial services industry a strong plus

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually bonus benefits
