Job Title: Production Technician

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration on analytical equipment.
  • Calculate, prepare, and fill medical and specialty gas mixtures and pures using partial pressure and gravimetric techniques.
  • Analyze products for purity conformance to specifications.
  • Process cylinders for shipment, including painting, labeling, and preparing certificates of analysis.
  • Maintain all quality control records and other required documentation in order to comply with company, local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.
  • Test and certify incoming raw materials for production.
  • Handle and load cylinders as required.
  • Participate in all required safety activities and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in NEWARK, California.

Work Environment

You will work with a variety of departments like customer service and production. It is a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Safety must be held in high regard as you will be testing chemicals. Some overtime may be required, but not a lot. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision if full time. This is an entry-level position, ideal for building valuable lab skills.
