J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management Finance and Business Management has a new opening for a Business Manager based in Newark, Delaware. This position will report directly to the Trusts and Estates Global Business Manager. For almost 200 years, J.P. Morgan Trusts & Estates has served as trustee, executor, and agent for individuals and families around the world.

Our professionals oversee almost $270 billion in assets and administer complex trusts and estates for families with broad, diverse and sophisticated needs.

As a Business Manager within our dynamic team, you will collaborate with Business Heads and key stakeholders to foster growth and implement change. Your role will involve assisting in the development and execution of business strategies and priorities, as well as supporting the daily operations of the business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the Global Trust and Estates business manager in deepening Trusts and Estates market presence by collaborating with internal partners; Trust team, Wealth Advisors, Bankers, Investors and marketing teams

  • Coordinate marketing materials, pitchbooks and other sales tools to help reach and better communicate with our existing and target clientele

  • Create management presentations, reports, and dashboards

  • Support development and drive execution of business unit strategic agendas

  • Identify and lead automation of processes and reports, leveraging technology and internal resources

  • Assist in the coordination of team activities, materials for town halls, and strategy working sessions

  • Conduct in-depth business analysis to support senior management decision making

  • Collect and maintain internal resources and documentation on collaboration sites

  • Collaborate with functional partners across the organization to help achieve business objectives

  • Assist in identifying key business risks and help to drive resolution of mitigating controls

  • Support audit, regulatory and compliance deliverables and help drive action plans

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • An interest in strategy, business management, project management, and data analysis

  • Experience in driving stakeholder agendas, delivering presentations to stakeholders/senior leaders, and articulating rationale in design decisions

  • Strong analytical, conceptual and creative thinking skills, with the ability to develop business insights and hypotheses

  • Comfortable with analyzing large data sets and driving conclusions and strategy to be presented to senior management

  • Skilled in communication, writing, organization, and time management

  • Judgment and discretion working with confidential and sensitive information

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration/Finance

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience with Tableau, Alteryx, Python a plus

  • 4+ years working experience preferably in a finance, consulting and or project management capacity
