JPMorgan Chase Finance Data Insights Release Management - Analyst in Newark, Delaware

The Firmwide Finance Business Architecture team (FFBA) is accountable for leading large-scale data, infrastructure, accounting standard and business process change management events. The team also provides a centralized program management and business analysis capability, targeted program governance, and consistent application of program management standards including system testing and change management practices, with a current focus on: overseeing the Data Acquisition framework for strategic and legacy Finance, T/CIO, and Wholesale Credit Risk platforms; deployment of the Finance Reporting Infrastructure (FRI) for regulatory and management reporting; and oversight of the Chief Data Office (CDO) for Finance and T/CIO. Additionally the team provides oversight for stand-alone projects on behalf of the Controllers organization (e.g. Brexit, CUSA merger, CECL Reg W, Location Strategy).

The Finance Data Insights Release management team ensures proper change management support is provided all the products we support such as Banking Book , Trading Book, Reference Data and Core Services, As a Release support analyst, you will ensure that the proper controls and change management process is strictly adhered to, ensuring proper risk mitigation to every consumer/stakeholder that utilizes any of the products supported. The Release support analyst will also be ensuring proper stakeholder management; thereby creating a great user experience.

As a Finance Data Insights Release Manager within the Finance Data Insights Release Management team, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders from various business lines, data Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), consumers, and technology teams across Finance, Credit Risk & Treasury, as well as various Program Management teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the entirety of Change Events/Releases across all the Data warehouses/Lakes, which comprises of both planned and ad hoc events.

  • Manage Stakeholders across the entire change management lifecycle, including influencing, negotiation and expectation management.

  • Resolve issues and escalate critical risks' and 'Document/Track/Metrics of all supported product artifacts to continue to promote for better user experience

  • Create Decks that drive strategy conversations in support of Modernization Journey

  • work on the metrics of all supported product artifacts to continue to drive for better user experience.

  • Execute anomaly detection/Regression testing activities to ensure requirements are in line with expectations for all impacted stakeholders.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree and 1 year of Project/Product/Business management, Business analysis experience and/or process re-engineering

  • Experience in hosting calls and developing stakeholder relationship

  • Creative Data Storytelling and communication skills

  • Skilled in creating presentation and reporting or producing metrics

  • Must be detail oriented, highly responsible and able to work with tight deadlines

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to tailor messaging to various audiences

  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills, with ability to learn quickly and assimilate business/technical knowledge

  • Advanced excel skills or any other analytical toolset

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Agile delivery mindset and usage of JIRA tool, SQL or JQL

  • Previous experience in Financial Services or Consulting role is a plus

  • Alteryx, AI or other Business intelligence knowledge is a plus

  • Data Mesh or Cloud Strategy knowledge is a Plus

  • Excellent Presentation and Communication; with expertise in PowerPoint or other presentation tools
