Party Reference Data Strategic Data Creation, Associate
Party Reference Data is a crucial firmwide function that manages party data throughout its lifecycle, from onboarding to disposition. This role is at the heart of every transaction, connecting parties to contracts, accounts, and transactions. We are on a transformative journey to revamp how we capture, structure, and store party reference data, aiming to improve client experience, simplify operations, and enhance analytical capabilities.
As a Party Reference Data Strategic Data Creation Associate within our Reference Data Strategy team, you will be at the forefront of managing party data throughout its lifecycle. You will have the opportunity to promote internal and external party reference data initiatives, oversee the implementation of global standards, and partner with stakeholders to define Critical Data Elements. This role provides an exciting opportunity to enhance your analytical skills and contribute to our goal of improving client experience, simplifying operations, and enhancing analytical capabilities.
Job Responsibilities
Drive internal and external party reference data initiatives as delegate of the Information Owner for firm-wide applications
Oversee implementation of global standards, ongoing governance, and maintenance of end-user access entitlements and governing policies for existing and strategic programs
Partner with stakeholders and colleagues to clearly define Critical Data Elements and their regulatory impact, business rules, data quality, and reporting
Administer governance of the global Party Reference Data Operations application access approvals including defining and publishing reporting
Deliver party record creation for firmwide servicing initiatives, manage populations and engage with broad range of internal stakeholders and partners
Mine, analyze, and report on large, complex data sets related to Party Reference Data
Drive analytics scope, objectives, and timeframes and reporting
Exhibit subject matter expertise for the development of entitlement and analysis requests
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Minimum of 3 years of related experience in project management and financial services required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
Analytical, detail-orientated, with a flexible proactive collaborative approach and the ability to adapt to business change
Experienced with reference data systems, data analysis and data quality with demonstrated advanced proficiency using Excel, PowerPoint, Alteryx
Clear oral and written communication skills, with ability to draw conclusions from data analysis and effectively communicate them to management and team members
Self-starter with excellent project leadership, interpersonal, and project management skills
Ability to develop secure stakeholder relationships and gain consensus on key decisions
Maintain a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize/multi-task, with ability to handle multiple deliverables concurrently to deliver high quality results in committed timeframes
Demonstrated experience as a key contributing member of a high performing organization
Builds a sense of community, creating a positive team environment and modeling a global, diverse mindset and inclusive behavior
Ability to work under pressure and to fixed deadlines
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Experience with reference data systems, data analysis and data quality
Excellent analytical background, problem solving, and communication skills are necessary
Experience in managing complex projects from inception to delivery
Solution oriented, leveraging a network to identify solutions and implement them
Takes responsibility for issues and follows through to resolution
Ability to influence outcomes and get the best from people, even where no direct line management responsibility exists
A flexible proactive approach, ability to adapt to business change
Final Job Grade and officer title will be determined at time of offer and may differ from this posting.
