Posting Summary | The Department of Family Medicine, Student Health Services at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School is currently recruiting candidates for Assistant Professor. We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician in the rank of Assistant Professor to join as core faculty in the department to provide primary care at the New Jersey Family Practice Center and Student Health Services in Newark, NJ. Candidates will support inquiry into the structural, systemic, institutional, and individual effects of racism and discrimination. Excellent candidates will have a record of serving patients to overcome inequity and social justice barriers. |

Minimum Education and Experience | MD or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine ABFM Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine Credential Required: Licensed, or eligible, by the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners Current DEA and CDS Registration Ability to type and use a computer to enter in the Electronic Medical Records Manual dexterity and mobility for charting (typing) Ability to handle emergency and crisis situations Must exhibit flexibility to work in a variety of settings |
