The Sourcing & Procurement AP Business Analyst is responsible for the daily production tasks related to AP quality assurance oversight and reporting, service level escalations, and system issues, enhancements, and efficiencies.This role includes engagement with all Prudential US business groups and corporate centers. The associate will be a vital member of Prudentials Global Sourcing & Procurement (GSP) Organization within the Prudential Finance Department. GSP seeks to empower Prudential globally to drive the greatest value by leveraging supplier partnerships providing its customers with easy access to products and services at the greatest value through business insights, market knowledge, seamless and efficient processes, and professional expertise.
This position is in Newark, NJ. The current employee work arrangement for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a recurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.
What you can expect:
Specific responsibilities for the day-to-day operations include but are not limited to the following:
Perform the AP Services Operations quality assurance monitoring
Monitor Prudentials outsourced AP resources performance
Respond to AP expense processing issues and escalations
Build relationships with business groups, corporate centers, and outsourced associates
Support User Acceptance Testing for system changes and Business Continuation testing
Conduct end user training on AP applications
Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures
Compile metrics and other operational statistics
Assist in special projects, initiatives and ad-hoc report and analysis requests
Continuously identify process efficiencies and improve effectiveness
Overtime required during peak periods
What youll need:
Bachelors degree
Proven ability to be proactive, work independently and with a team
Strong problem solving, time management and organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to navigate and resolve issues
Ability to quickly adapt to new technology
Itd be a plus if you had:
Experience working with Oracle Financial Applications, Microsoft Excel, and Word
Previous experience working in a procurement function

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $62,500.00 to $93,000.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
