Lead, Dev Ops Engineer (Multiple Positions), The Prudential Insurance Company of America, Newark, NJ: Assisting with the analysis, design and build of the DevOps processes and tool sets. Provide input to the DevOps standards and workflows, configuration management functions associated with product releases and ensuring the integrity of the delivery standards. Develop and mature the Prudential proprietary Central Express platform. Develop microservices and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to enable the delivery of pipeline templates to the customer. Programing in Groovy, Python, Shell, Java, Docker. Develop infrastructure as code templates to provision software defined infrastructure. Telecommuting permitted 100%. Candidates may reside and work anywhere in the U.S.Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience; OR a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in each of the following: •Developing platforms using Node.js, Java, Groovy, Python, and Shell;•API deployment for tooling integration; •Utilizing modern source code management and software repository systems: Git or Bitbucket;•AWS Cloud;•Utilizing DevOps Tools: SonarQube or Artifactory;•Utilizing build tools including: Maven, MSBuild, and Gradle;•Using containers, including Docker; and•Working with Atlassian suite: Jira or Confluence.Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in utilizing Jenkins for Pipeline as Code or Shared Libraries.
