What you will do
Reporting to the Vice President, Operational Risk Management of PGIM Executive Office, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ORM professional to join our dynamic PGIM Operational risk team.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the PGIM affiliates and support functions by providing operational risk management advice and expertise. The PGIM ORM team assists in the identification, communication and mitigation of risks in the businesses, monitors control issues and action plan status, and communicates as appropriate with corporate counterparts. The PGIM ORM team also provides support to governance forums including the PGIM Risk Management Committee and Investment Committee.
This role is based in our office in Newark, NJ. Our organization follows a hybrid work structure whereemployees can work remotely and/ from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. This position is hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring weekly basis 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
What you can expect
The Manager of PGIM ORM will be responsible for assisting the PGIM VP of Risk Management with the following responsibilities, among others:
Support the roll-out of the Operational Risk Framework, including participating inrisk assessmentmeetings and workshops with Senior Management in the support functions and businesses; documenting minutes of meetings, key risks and controls and following up on action plans
Work with the PGIM Chief Risk Officer and the Chair of the PGIM Investment Committee to establish agendas, meeting materials, execute the meetings and prepare minutes;
Assist inrisk aggregation and reporting,including the preparation of risk dashboards, key risk indicators, incident and loss events collection, audit issues reporting, quarterly and annual risk reports;
Coordinate with the risk officers in the various business units toimplement various PGIM and Enterprise Risk initiativeswhile recognizing the needs of each business unit across PGIM;
Collaborate closely with the various business units and support functions across PGIM toreinforce risk ownership and accountability and enhance visibilityinto PGIM affiliates.
What you will bring
The ideal candidate will be a risk professional in the asset management or financial services industry, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in consulting, auditing, or operational risk management.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated an ability to grow within an organization, adapt and learn quickly and will be a results-oriented individual who can translate plans into actions, and with a strong moral compass.
The candidate will possess a unique combination of skills including:
Product knowledge in the financial services industry,
Exposure to asset management activities,
Experience in operational risk management activities,
Experience within an operations, investment or control function is encouraged,
Excellent project management and multi-tasking skills,
Strong inter-personal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment,
Superior oral and written communication skills

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $115,000 to $135,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
