National Account Manager - Foodservice

Preferred Location - Eastern/Central US - Near Major Airport

The National Account Manager - Foodservice (Non-Commercial) role is responsible for achieving sustainable, profitable sales volume within their assigned customer base. They must possess depth as well as breadth of Foodservice experience, as they will collaborate with other functional areas within the Mars business, representing Mars Food and Mars Wrigley. Segments include K12, College & University, B&I, Healthcare, and all other specialty channels that are considered "Non-Commercial" in Foodservice. The Non-Commercial Manger is responsible for developing a more strategic, collaborative relationship with our key accounts, achieving permanent product placement on contracts, and developing effective and productive relationships at all levels within the segment.

What are we looking for?
Bachelor's Degree
5 Years' experience in Sales, Marketing, for Fast Moving Consumer Good Industries
Experience with or direct knowledge of the Foodservice segment. (Non-Commercial, Distribution etc.)
Ability to forecast sales, manage & analyze customer data, and work with trade management systems.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) & customer systems, such as CARMA, Blacksmith, Premier Connect, MS Teams.
Ability to travel 25-35%


What would be your key responsibilities?
Responsible for managing businesses with customers across multiple industries. (ie: healthcare, C&U, K12, B&I, hospitality).
Negotiate contracts with target accounts & lead the execution of the negotiation and implement programs with internal and external partners.
Build timely and accurate sales volume forecasts that are communicated within required deadlines. Continually review submitted forecasts to anticipate issues and take corrective action as needed.
Establish and execute strategic account promotions designed to achieve maximum profitable sales volume for Mars Foodservice and the Customer.
Develop relationships with customer senior leadership in marketing, culinary, operations and purchasing.
Create and execute customers solutions of profitable sales growth for seasonal, placement and seasonal shelving, merchandising & pricing, that achieves customer objectives, category leadership and company objectives.
Influence customers to implement solutions through fact-based presentations that deliver results that are beneficial for both customer and company.
Complete new product launches with timely and effective execution to maximize customer impact.
Manage customers trade funds that complies with internal and external requirements and continually improve effectiveness of spending.
Provide customer with category information & make recommendations for category growth, bring customer feedback & potential solutions.

Thebase pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between the below range, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, andexperience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay & general allowances (depending on the positionand employee's work schedule). Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicablepolicies andplans then in effect, and depending on the position offered and the employee's work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule), eligible employees are automatically enrolled in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee's eligible dependents, and may be eligible to take up to 18 weeks of paid parental leave.Employees will also receivethe following paid-time off (which may be prorated based on start date and the employee's work schedule):120 hours of vacation per year, paid sick time for eligible Associates of 100% pay continuation for a maximum of 40 hours per calendar year,and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year that include both fixed and flexible holidays.
