Posting Summary | The Center Emerging and Re-emerging Pathogens and the Public Health Research Institute at New Jersey Medical School, Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences, located in Newark, NJ, invites applications for full time, tenure-track appointments at the Professor level. We are currently recruiting candidates with expertise in basic and applied research in Covid-19, Tuberculosis or Tuberculosis and HIV. The position will be supported by a competitive start-up package with exceptional candidates being considered for further support as Chancellor Scholars. |

Minimum Education and Experience | Applicants must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree, post-doctoral experience, excellent communication skills and a record of productivity in Virology, Mycobacterial or HIV research. Candidates at the Full Professor level should have a substantial trajectory toward developing a rigorous, externally-funded research program. Candidates at the Full Professor level should have a national scientific reputation, current research funding and a history of mentorship and leadership. |
