Your Team & Role
As a Senior Platform Engineer in IIQ Data Governance, you will partner with product owners, tech leads, designers, engineers, and delivery professionals to improve Access Request Provisioning. You will configure, code, test and debug new and existing applications as you implement capabilities to solve sophisticated business problems, deploy innovative products, services and experiences to delight our customers! In addition to applied technical understanding and knowledge, you will bring excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills, along with agile ways of working, strong business insight, an inclusive leadership attitude and a continuous learning focus to all that you do.
Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day
Configure and build applications ensuring that the solution follows latest practices and industry standards for Sailpoint using modern design patterns and architectural principles; with guidance, actively code and execute against the roadmap
Develop high quality, well documented and efficient code adhering to all applicable Prudential standardsthat stay aligned with platform vendor roadmap and direction
Design the business logic and integration patterns with Prudential Ecosystem, using modern integration, data, and security patterns
Write unit, integration tests and functional automation, researching problems discovered by quality assurance or product support, developing solutions to address the problems
Bring an understanding of relevant and emerging technologies, begin to see opportunities to provide input to the team, and embed learning and innovation in the day-to-day
Work on problems of diverse scope in which analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
Use programming languages including but not limited to Python, Java, or JavaScript and React, Springboot, Node.js frameworks
The Skills & Expertise You Bring
Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or experience in related fields
Leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts and perspectives to the benefit of the organization
Experience with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Knowledge of business concepts tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business
Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges
Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills
Experience with the following:
o Core Platforms & Languages: Java
Knowledge/understanding of the following:
o Application Programming Interfaces (API): Rest
o Unit, interface and end user testingconcepts and tooling (functional & non-functional)
o Knowledge with Sailpoint
o Configuration and administration of core capabilities, data model, integrations, security, access control
Insert based on platform
SQL, Excel, and XML
Apex, Lightning Component Development, Java Script, REST/JSON and XML integrations
Configuration and knowledge of the Sales/Service cloud configuration and administration of core capabilities, data model, Integrations, security, access control
Preferred qualifications:
o Knowledge of Bitbucket, DevOps automation tools & practices
o Knowledge of agile development methodologies and Test Driven Development (TDD)
o Testing tools such as SOAPUI, Postman, Selenium
o Be inquisitive and passion to learn new technologies
o Financial/Insurance industry knowledge is a plus, not a must
