Position Summary:
This position requires an individual who possesses self-initiative, attention to detail, ability to integrate work, and function as part of a team and as a leader. Work involves the study of building codes, renewable energy credits, and surrounding public policy issues, including but not limited to planning and development practices, Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), cap and trade, tracking, and related regulatory issues.
Essential Functions:
Conducting industry practice and public policy research aimed at understanding existing practices, making policy recommendations, and developing written and presentation material describing findings.
Prerequisite Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in engineering, planning, public policy, or public administration.
15 years experience in a combination of energy-related public policy, public procurement, and local government public finance activities.
At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be accepted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
