Position Summary:
The Ying Wu College of Computing at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) has an immediate opening for a Post Doctoral Research Associate position. The successful candidate will work on cutting-edge research projects in the field of computer science, contributing to advancements in computational education. Essential Functions:
- Conduct independent and collaborative research in qualitative methods in education
-Develop algorithms, models, or frameworks, and evaluate their performance using appropriate benchmarks
-Assist with writing and publishing high-quality research papers/ peer-reviewed journals
-Collaborate with faculty members and other researchers in interdisciplinary projects
-Seek and contribute to research funding opportunities to support ongoing and future projects.
Prerequisite Qualifications:
-PhD in Education, Computer Science, or a related field.
-Knowledge of research literature in education and broadening participation in computing.
-Experience in the application of qualitative methods in education research.
-Must have experience in leading multi-institutional programs that implement research-driven interventions for broadening participation in computing.
Successful candidates must also have excellent organization and communication skills.
