This role will support Global Capabilities to develop, test, deliver actuarial modeling solutions for use in valuation, pricing, forecasting and capital optimization.
The current employee work arrangement for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site

Work within a development team to develop solutions to meet business requirements

Process Automation
Data Modeling
Application Configuration
User Interface

Ensure efficient architecture through technical implementation which follows sound software development principles
Solutions are scalable to new use-cases
Solutions are flexible to support future changes
Solutions are stable and reliable in Production
Solutions are transparently documented

Collaborate with Product Owner and Actuarial users (Valuation, Forecasting, Risk, etc) during all phases of the software development process
Ensure implementation meets User Acceptance Criteria
Perform testing to identify and prioritize bugs
What youll need:

1 years of experience in programming languages (Python preferred)
1 years of experience in actuarial functions
Minimum 2 exams completed towards Associate of Society of Actuaries credential (or equivalent)
Familiarity with actuarial modeling software (PolySystems preferred)
Familiarity with agile methodologies
Bachelors Degree
Itd be a plus if you had:

Knowledge of software design principles and experience in building scalable applications
Comfortable working with software development tools including Git, Bitbucket, IDEs

The salary range for this role is from $97,300.00 to $144,900.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
