What you will do:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Power Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team within PGIM, the Global Investment Management division of Prudential Financial. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for defining and executing end to end strategy for Power Platform adoption in PGIM including front-to-back architecture for managing green, yellow and red zone applications, environment management, SDLC lifecycle and partnership between citizen and pro developers. Additionally, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into robust, efficient technical solutions. Your focus will be on optimizing processes and data flows to eliminate redundancy and enhance performance, ensuring that the solutions you develop are systematic and efficient. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in leveraging automation to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency within the organization.
This role is based in our office in Newark, NJ. Our organization follows a hybrid work structure whereemployees can work remotely and/ from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. This position is hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring weekly basis 2 days per week.
What you can expect:
Design, develop, and implement solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power BI, Power Pages, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
Create automated workflows to improve efficiency and streamline business processes.
Optimize existing processes and data flows to ensure they are efficient, non-redundant, and systematic.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their challenges.
Translate business needs into technical solutions, ensuring robust and scalable implementations.
Conduct thorough testing and validation of developed solutions to ensure quality and reliability.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented solutions, including troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements.
Document solutions and workflows clearly to facilitate knowledge sharing and support organizational continuity.
What you will bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
4 years of experience in solution development, specifically utilizing Microsoft Power Platform.
Extensive hands-on experience with Power BI, Power Pages, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Copilot Studio.
Experience with rapidly building solutions using leading low-code platforms
Strong understanding of automation principles and best practices when developing solutions.
Experience in a financial services environment is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on process optimization and efficiency improvements.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
A proactive mindset and a passion for exploring new technologies to enhance business processes.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $100,000 to $130,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
