Posting Summary | Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Senior Director (Projects and Operations) in the Office of Faculty Affairs for Rutgers Biomedical and Health Science.The Senior Director is an integral member of the combined office of RBHS Academic Affairs which includes the Offices of Faculty Affairs and Academic and Student Affairs. The Senior Director will report to the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs (VCAA). Within the office, the Senior Director will be a key partner to the VCAA, the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Faculty Affairs, and the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs. The office serves all the schools, institutes and centers within Rutgers Health. Other key partners include University offices including but not limited to University Human Resources, Payroll, Project Management Office, Office of General Counsel and the Office of University Labor Relations. The Senior Director will work across all levels of staff and faculty including but not limited to the Chancellor, Senior Vice Chancellors, Vice Presidents, Deans, and Chairs. The Senior Director is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing operations, processes, and systems to achieve a high level of efficiency and coordination. The position will handle a wide range of matters of institutional importance and exercise confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive matters.Among the key duties of this position are the following:
