We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Accountant in Newark, New Jersey. The successful candidate will be expected to handle various accounting functions, manage auditing tasks, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Your role will also involve using accounting software systems and working on financial statements. This is a hybrid opportunity with benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize accounting software systems to manage and maintain accurate records

• Prepare 1120, 1120s, 1040, Partnership returns.

• Assist clients with the preparation

• Assist in the formation of entities and handle all related financial aspects

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports

• Work with CaseWare, CCH IntelliConnect, CCH Prosystem, and CCH ProSystem Fx for efficient accounting processes

• Address and resolve customer inquiries related to tax and accounting matters

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action in case of irregularities

• Collaborate with other financial professionals to ensure smooth and efficient processes.

Requirements • Must possess proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with CaseWare is necessary

• Knowledge of CCH IntelliConnect, CCH Prosystem, and CCH ProSystem Fx is required

• Must be adept at handling various Accounting Functions

• Experience in Auditing is mandatory

• Should have a solid understanding of Compliance requirements in the financial sector

• Ability to assist in Entity Formation

• Must be able to prepare and analyze Financial Statements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills

• Should have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Must be able to work collaboratively in a team setting

• Should display a high level of professionalism and ethical conduct

• Must be willing to continuously update knowledge in the field of tax accounting.
