Position Overview
The Oracle ERP Functional Analyst is the lead for ERP Supply Chain. This individual represents the Oracle team for all support and continuous improvement in the Manufacturing solution. The ideal candidate brings a minimum of 10 years of expertise in implementing, testing, and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite Modules including Manufacturing, WIP, BOM, Inventory, Order Management, Supply Chain, and ASCP.
Responsibilities
Serve as technology and process functional expert for Oracle ERP Manufacturing modules such as Oracle WIP, BOM, Manufacturing, Inventory, Order Management, Supply Chain Management and ASCP.
Gather business requirements for implementation and enhancement of Oracle E-Business Suite modules
Create business process flow
Provide a project plan the includes the implementation steps, dependencies, and timeline
Interact with Oracle ERP MFG users to understand and document the current SubCom manufacturing process and requirements.
Document the current SubCom manufacturing process
Document and create current process flow
Design a business solution and identify the future process flow for the implementation of project IRON (fully utilizing Oracle ERP for SubCom Cable manufacturing)
Perform gap analysis to determine the required SubCom ERP system setup and configuration.
Create business requirements documents, system configuration documents, detailed functional design documents, test plans and test cases, user training documents and implementation documentation as necessary.
Work with the SubCom Oracle ERP development team to design and implement system modifications.
Define the future state process flow and create the specification for the required customization
Create test cases/data, unit test the modification, and approve the results
Create CRP test scenarios
Lead and coordinate the UAT process and coordinate any needed changes
Provide end user support for all MFG Modules and assist to resolve all reported support issues.
Review and analyze support requests and reported issues
Identify the cause of the reported problems and define solutions or workaround
Work with business customers, developers and Oracle Support (software provider) to research, document and resolve the reported issues
Review, analyze, and create the specifications for any enhancement’s requests
Test, verify and approve the results of the implemented solutions and enhancements
Create migration requests and verify that the migrated code is working properly in the production environment
Qualifications
Requires a bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent with 10 years relevant experience.
Experience working with Oracle Manufacturing modules with good knowledge of Supply Chain Management.
Must have experience with:
Oracle ERP –Manufacturing 5/more Years
Oracle ERP – Work in Process 5/more Years
Oracle ERP – Supply Chain Management 5/more Years
Oracle ERP – Bill of Materials (BOM) 5/more years
Oracle ERP – Inventory 5/more Years
Oracle Project Manufacturing.
