Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in the Financial Services industry based in Newport Beach, California. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including processing banking transactions, maintaining investor information, and facilitating account set-ups.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently process banking transactions including loan, investor, and line of credit activity
• Maintain and update accurate records of investor contributions and redemptions
• Carry out monthly reconciliation of member's capital and loan balances
• Oversee the initiation and approval of fund transfers and Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions
• Manage the distribution of member statements and communication of investor updates
• Coordinate and facilitate requests from investors for account set-up, contributions, and redemptions
• Maintain investor information using CRM tools and communicate any changes as needed
• Oversee the use and management of Accounting Software Systems and Crystal Reports for accounting functions
• Ensure the completion of payment requests and maintain trust reconciliation
• Manage and oversee the signing of all DocuSign documents, save files for reference and upload to platforms for investor access. Requirements • Proficient in 3M software, providing the ability to efficiently manage financial data
• Advanced knowledge of Accounting Software Systems to streamline financial operations
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services to manage payroll and other financial services
• Proficient in CRM software to effectively manage customer relationships and interactions
• Familiarity with Crystal Reports to create interactive content from various data sources
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) to manage company's debts and payments
• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) to oversee incoming payments and revenue
• Auditing skills to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations
• Familiarity with Budget Processes to effectively plan and manage company's finances
