We are looking for an exceptional Houseperson/Houseman. If you are interested in working in a beautiful private country club with outstanding service and people, then consider Big Canyon. Currently searching for a part time houseperson who can transition to a seasonal full-time role for the summer and back to part time after August.

Respond and provide aid if you are properly trained in medical or other emergencies
Ability to multi-task in a faced paced, high-pressure environment
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintaining a commitment to a high level of member service and satisfaction
Maintaining working knowledge of all club amenities as well as any special club events
Following Banquet Event Orders with strong attention to detail with knowledge of various types of set-ups
Assisting with all transportation, set-up and break-down on functions to include setting folding napkins and arranging tables, collecting soiled linens, and A/V team equipment set up
Maintaining the cleanliness of banquet storage, table rooms, and on-course storage facility
Assembling and striking dance floors, stages, podiums and presentation equipment
Transporting heavy equipment such as heaters, umbrellas, bars, etc.., to and from on and off course locations
Setting-Up and Breaking-Down air walls prior to and after banquet events
Compensation
Pay for this position is $20/hour
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Maintain a pleasant, polite manner as well as a neat and clean appearance
High school education required
Prior hospitality experience preferred
Work cooperatively and professionally with other departments
Ability to be on one’s feet for long periods of time while bending, reaching and stooping when necessary
Must have valid driver's license and meet company driving standards (i.e. operation of maintenance cart/trailer equipment)
Must be able to properly lift move, transfer, and set objects weighing 50-75 pounds.
Must be able to work well under pressure and be highly detail oriented
Must be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written
