Job Description

The Integration Test Engineer will be responsible for the on-site execution of upper-level system functional testing. The Integration Test Engineer shall report to the assigned Integration Manager for all on-site execution planning. For any line management or organizational matters, the engineer shall report directly to the Sr Manager, Systems Integration. Testing execution may require subsystem-level testing as well as testing with the relative Warehouse Management System software (e.g. SynQ).

Primary Job Duties:

  • Deployment and validation of the latest software package when mobilizing respective project sites for integration.

  • Initial configuration of key system services on-site as needed for respective projects. Testing of individual subsystems on-site to confirm readiness for integration.

  • On-site execution of integrated-system functional test cases as delivered from the project design team.

  • On-site troubleshooting / root-cause-analysis of key integrated system issues.

  • Active participation and support in Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and GO Live efforts. This may require intense troubleshooting in a live production environment.

Hard Skills

  • C++

  • Java

  • SQL

  • Experience writing and executing simple SQL queries

  • Hands on hardware testing (Conveyor systems or other automation equipment)

  • Experience testing hardware and software

  • Experience writing Selenium scripts

  • Sound application knowledge of automated material handling equipment such as AS/RS, pallet and case conveyors, sorters, AGV’s, monorails, WMS's, PLC's

  • Solid understanding of information systems and engineering theory and the project life cycle for material handling systems

  • Solid systems integrations experience within the robotics/warehouse automation industry

  • Software design and architecture knowledge

  • Knowledge of SQL database queries

  • Software QA testing experience (running automation scripts)

  • General understanding of how automation equipment operates (Conveyor systems)

  • PLC testing knowledge (Allen Bradley & Siemens)

Work Environment

100% remote WITH 50-75% yearly travel
