Summary:
As a Cook, you will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction of The Fish Peddler. Prepare food for service and ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion. Conduct seafood counter sales, stocking and other market duties as needed. Responsible for product and menu knowledge, quality control and building relationships with store customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare food for service.
Demonstrate detailed expertise of cooking and holding requirements for products offered.
Prepare all menu items for service.
Assist customers with inquiries and complaints.
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with team members and customers.
Assist the seafood counter when necessary.
Perform other duties, as assigned.
What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:
Required:
High school Diploma or GED
Preferred:
One or more years of experience in the preparation and cooking of seafood and related products, or a combination of training and experience.
Prior formal culinary training.
Food handler’s card.
Strong customer service skills
Effective communication skills
Pay Range: $16.50 hourly
