Rite-Solutions, Inc., is seeking a skilled and motivated Full-Time Financial Analyst to support on-site at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Code 25 Consolidated Afloat Network & Enterprise Services (CANES) Program. The Financial Analyst will work with the Code 25 Business Financial Office Lead and Technical Program Manager, aiding them with the financial planning, budgeting, execution and data calls.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support aspects of planning, budgeting, and execution.
Apply general mathematics skills and accounting principles to update budgets and financial tracking systems.
Produce financial reports using existing templates. Provide recommendations for improvements to reporting tools.
Prepare materials for financial meetings.
Analyze spend rates and trends and provide corrective recommendations when required.
Recommend methods for effective and efficient use of funding in the budget and planning years and analyze obligation.
Develop ad hoc reports for business office as required.
Requirements & Skills:
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to handle demanding situations with clarity, focus and professionalism, and respond quickly to short-suspense data calls.
Must be a critical thinker with excellent capacity to analyze, understand, and incorporate technical information.
Intermediate-to-expert level proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel.
Working knowledge of government accounting concepts and systems (such as SAP (ERP)) required.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience providing business analysis for DoD programs, Federal Government programs or Information Technology programs.
US Citizenship and an active Secret-level security clearance with the US Government.
