A staffspeech-language pathologistassumes responsibility in the daily activities of the speech rehab services. This includes evaluating and developing treatment plans for outpatients, inpatients, IRU and Generations patients. He/she is directly responsible to the department director, and has the responsibility for overall direction, utilization, supervision, instruction, and evaluation of professional and supportive staff, and students in their area of the services. In addition, the staff therapist is involved in documenting as necessary and appropriate, while assisting, or actively participating, in quality management, performance improvement, corporate compliance and safety procedures for the department/facility.
