Actalent Electronics Technician in Newtown, Pennsylvania

Job Title: Electronics Technician

Job Description

This role involves prototyping engineering designs and working closely with engineers in an engineering environment. The technician will perform daily tests, including weather and pressure testing, and engage in technical simulations. Collaboration with engineering teams to work through prototyping units is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.

  • Develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.

  • Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems.

  • Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.

  • Assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.

Qualifications

  • High School or Equivalent Minimum

  • Associates Degree and Bachelors Degree preferred but NOT required

  • 2-3 years of experience in a related field preferred

  • Ability to handle multiple opportunities and meet strict deadlines

Work Environment

100% onsite in Newtown, PA in an engineering lab with electro-static flooring and pressure testing equipment to simulate space. Required to wear lab attire. Only one shift is offered from 7AM - 3:30PM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00
