Bucks County Community College Program Manager - Service Delivery in Newtown, Pennsylvania

Job Title: Program Manager - Service Delivery

Department: Corporate College & Customized Training

Location: Center for Advanced Technologies Building (Bristol, PA)

 

This role is responsible for managing the delivery of all services within the department, including all training types, coaching, consulting engagements, and corporate college enrollments. This will involve significant use of more than one Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP) for the foreseeable future. Essential responsibilities include frontline support of all Business Development Team (BDT) functions, detailed coordination, implementation, and monitoring of instructor assignments, travel arrangements, facility access, course materials, equipment and resources, and delivery support needs. This position coordinates all aspects of effective program delivery to off-site locations. This position regularly communicates and plans logistical details with managers and liaison personnel for our corporate partners. This position is accountable for all certificates and certification cards, coordinating multiple projects simultaneously, as well as collection and analysis of various levels of program data. Data that includes but is not limited to course evaluations. This position works closely with BDT and other College personnel to ensure logistical accuracy, full resource support, and ease of execution for all services and solutions provided to our clients.   

 

Primary Job Duties:

  • Manages service delivery using sound independent judgement, when performing tasks to plan and support the successful delivery of our client engagements. Applies logic and business acumen when tasks do not conform to existing SOPs used in the department in order to provide the contracted deliverables to the client. Able to recognize those issues which require guidance from the BDT and those that do not is crucial.

  • All work is accomplished through use of, and documented within, multiple ERP systems.

  • Regularly plans and communicates logistical details with managers and liaison personnel for our corporate clients; attends various planning meetings.

  • Manages multiple projects simultaneously and ensures logistical accuracy and full resource support for contracted training programs.

  • Registers all students, purchases or duplicates course materials, and issues student certificates.

  • Purchases instructional aids and general supplies for the department within ERPs.

  • Preparation and delivery of instructor contracts, and travel arrangements, if necessary, as per the job scope.

  • Actively participates in, and may be expected to lead, business meetings with corporate partners and department managers.

  • Utilize project management skills to prioritize work assignments, initiate resolution strategies to manage immediate issues/problems related to all services.

  • Collect and analyze various levels of program data.

  • Performs field assessments of training/service delivery to observe instructor/client interaction.

  • Complete special projects as assigned and/or occasional overnight travel.

     

Salary range: $55,660 - 71,153 (commensurate with experience)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 4-6 years of job related experience.

  • Computer skills include deep experience with all MS Office products and Adobe, as well as 5-10 years with multiple ERP systems. CRM experience is preferred.

  • Must be self-motivated, detailed oriented, possess superior soft skills concerning customer service, interpersonal communications, and a high degree of e otional intelligence.

  • Demonstrates solid written and verbal communications skills allowing the employee to communicate fearlessly with businesses and clients at all levels.

  • Sound project management skills which enable the employee to initiate, coordinate, and monitor multiple simultaneous projects with strict timelines.

  • Working knowledge, or at least awareness level, of all solutions offered

  • Extremely logical and possesses the business acumen necessary to understand the "big picture" of the BDT's mission, its revenue goals, and how Corporate College & Customized Training must perform to meet those commitments.

  • Flexible and responsive to accept new challenges from the college during this time of change, as well as those coming from our dynamic client landscape.
